1 Land & Lifestyle Discovery
We begin by understanding your land, lifestyle, budget, timing, and long-term goals. Whether you already own property or are still searching, this step helps define what kind of acreage home is right for you.
2 Acreage Feasibility Review
Before design begins, we review key property considerations such as access, utilities, septic, well/cistern, grading, drainage, setbacks, zoning, subdivision status, and county requirements. This helps reduce surprises before committing to design.
3 Budget & Build Strategy
Once we understand the land, we establish a realistic budget framework that considers the home, site conditions, servicing, exterior work, design complexity, and finish level.
4 Home Concept & Plan Direction
We help clients choose the right design direction using proven Lighthouse home concepts as starting points. The goal is not to force clients into a plan, but to help them avoid starting from a blank page.
5 Agreement, Selections & Construction Preparation
Once the design, scope, and budget are aligned, we finalize the agreement and prepare the project for construction, including specifications, selections, permits, engineering, trade coordination, and schedule planning.
6 Construction & Communication
During construction, the Lighthouse team manages the build, coordinates trades, tracks progress, and communicates clearly through each major stage.
7 Possession, Warranty & Long-Term Care
When the home is complete, we guide the client through orientation, possession, warranty, and ongoing support as they settle into their acreage home.
